36" x 48" standard window frame and accommodates 2.5" rod. Sugar Plum bedding fabric is printed fabric and all is 100% machine washable. Washing instructions are included on baby bedding care tags. Sugar Plum baby bedding resists fading during washing and will last wash after wash as opposed to some of the cheaper quality sets sold for less.

Wall pictures can be changed out easily too, as can covers and pillows for chairs and such. Also, while you won't be wallpapering the room at the last minute, adding wall stickers of balloons or stuffed animals can be a nice quick final touch.

Stay prepared for the change. Some things simply don't fit in a room that is not a nursery. A diaper genie can be dressed up as a trash can, but everyone will STILL know what it is. Similarly, bottle warmers, bouncy chairs and play pens are all out of place in a spare room and your guests will be distinctly uncomfortable if you leave a baby monitor on the night stand. This does not, however, mean you should not have uniquely nursery items available and waiting. It just means they must be out of sight or in storage until you need them.

With these or similar ideas as a part of your basic plan, there is no reason to feel intimidated by the idea of having a room that is ready at a moment's notice to go from stylish guest room to cute nursery.
